John DeLorean biopic will hit theaters in the near future

A new biopic on the big and wild life of car maker John DeLorean (yes that DeLorean that was in Back to the Future) is coming out to a theater near you! The movie is brought to us by IFC Films and is being premiered first at the Tribeca Film Festival before it hits theaters in the coming months. The documentary film stars Alec Baldwin as John DeLorean and tells the story of the rise and fall of the famed automobile executive who created the Pontiac GTO and of course the famed Back to the Future car, the 1983 DMC DeLorean.

This is not your typical documentary. It breaks the fourth wall and while they tell the story of John DeLorean, they at the same time tell how hard it is to make a documentary or tell a story about John DeLorean. It's being dubbed a "hybrid documentary" due to it's raw footage from back in the 70s and 80s of the actual man mixed with acting portrayals done by Baldwin, mixed with family commentary. It's a unique take on a documentary that tells the story of the man who made one of the most famous movie cars of all time.

Would you check it out?
