Flash of Lightning: Valentine's Day Edition

I'm back at it again for another "Flash of Lightning"! I received a bunch of positive feedback on my first reintroduction of the segment so I will be doing it as a weekly feature. This week I did keep it a themed Flash again as we head into Valentine's Day weekend. There is a little bit of something for everyone in this Flash. Take a listen, and enjoy!

I hope everyone has a lovely Valentine's Day this weekend!

xoxo,

Producer Lightning

P.S.

The idea of using a kiss to sign off on Valentines originated as a way to represent Christianity, or the cross, in the Middle Ages. During the same time, the symbol was used to sign off on documents. After marking with an X, the writer would often kiss the mark as a sign of their oath. As the gesture grew among kings and commoners to certify books, letters and paperwork, these records were described as having been “sealed with a kiss.”
