Broward County Deputies Instructed Not To Enter School

Fox News just broke another vital puzzle piece regarding the lack of action shown by Broward County deputies during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Laura Ingraham divulged reports that the sheriff deputies were instructed not to enter the school unless they had body cameras on. It just so happened that none of them had body cameras, so outside the school they remained.

Although requiring body cameras to address a school shooting is beyond absurd, that wasn't the only news we learned from the Fox host. It's also being reported that Broward County deputies lost radio transmissions during the shooting. Lost transmissions also occurred for this crack squad during the Fort Lauderdale airport shooting in Broward County on January 6, 2017. That event took the lives of 5 people and injured six.

This news comes on the heels of reports that EMS crews weren't allowed into the Parkland high school until the entire school was cleared. This move is against normal practice and put the injured students in even more risk. It's unclear if EMS personnel could have saved more lives if they were allowed to enter the school with law enforcement, which is common practice.

The more time ticks, the more it seems the Broward County Sheriffs Department should cease to exist. At this point, there are many out there that would like to see head sheriff Scott Israel put through some sort of war crimes trial. He has clearly run a less than acceptable department, and continues to jump in front of any equipment he thinks may be recording. This doesn't change the fact the sheriffs found chilling like villains outside the school during the massacre should have had one ounce of instincts. They knew someone was in the school killing children, and they decided to follow an obviously questionable directive. Anyone wearing that forest green button down uni should be seen applying for positions at Chick-fil-A.
