Kim Kardashian made a trip to the White House to meet with Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and even the President himself, on prison reform. She is fighting on behalf of a grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, who has been imprisoned for a nonviolent drug offense back in 1996. Johnson is serving life in prison without parole. This specific case spoke to Kim after she saw a video with Johnson that went viral and over 8 million people saw it, including Kim. She decided to use her celebrity status to try and help.
