2) The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Another film I'm excited about is the new Nutcracker! I'm a dancer and have been my whole life so I always cherished the beloved story of the Nutcracker. With that being said this new take on the Nutcracker that showcases the "four realms" in this animated way intrigues me greatly. For those who don't know the story, it tells the story of Clara, a young girl who wants a special key that unlocks a priceless box from her late mother, for Christmas. She attends her godfather Drosselmeyer's annual holiday party and one thing leads to another there that leads her into this strange and mysterious parallel land in search for the special key she seeks.

This fairytale film is rated PG so it's a family friendly movie. It's unfortunately not receiving the highest of reviews from audiences or critics. Audiences give it a score of only 48% positive while critics give it an even lower score of 35% positive. Regardless, this is a classic tale that is sure to please.

As these polar opposites collide -- with hilarious and sometimes disastrous results -- Tanya discovers that Danica's picture-perfect life -- including her mysterious boyfriend -- may not be what it seems."

This film is not getting the best of reviews...Critics only give it a low score of 20% positive while audiences give it a little higher of a score but not by much, with a 50% positive review. This film is rated R.
