The latest in specialty cereal is "Chicken & Waffles" cereal brought to us from the company behind Honey Bunches of Oats. It's not a myth, it's not an "April Fools joke", it's coming to Walmart stores on March 7th! This is one of two unique flavors we can expect from Honey Bunches of Oats; the other being "Maple Bacon Donuts" cereal.
This might just be the perfect welcome gift I can give our newest member of "VB in the Middle", Waffles! Wouldn't it be perfect? His name is Waffles after all. It would only make sense that he likes Waffles...
Naturally, the cereal tastes like sweet syrup covered waffles and chicken. The "chicken" pieces of the cereal are shaped like chicken drumsticks and apparently taste like it too! Now, I initially thought this cereal isn't for me because I'm a pescatarian but after further investigating, the cereal is vegetarian friendly. No actual chicken or meat were used in the making of this cereal. Maybe I'll try it after all..I still think this is perfect for Waffles though...
"Chicken & Waffles" cereal is being released on "National Cereal Day" which is March 7th. They planned this release out perfectly huh? You can only purchase the cereal in Walmart stores. It is exclusive to them. A box goes for $2.98.
I think I'll have to get this cereal, if nothing else for seeing the look on Waffles face when I give it to him...
