In a Press release Thursday, Spotify announced a partnership with Higher Ground, Barack and Michelle Obama's production company. Inside contained a quote from both Mr. and Mrs. Obama:
“We’ve always believed in the value of entertaining, thought-provoking conversation,” President Obama said. “It helps us build connections with each other and open ourselves up to new ideas. We’re excited about Higher Ground Audio because podcasts offer an extraordinary opportunity to foster productive dialogue, make people smile and make people think, and, hopefully, bring us all a little closer together.”
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to amplify voices that are too often ignored or silenced altogether, and through Spotify, we can share those stories with the world,” Michelle Obama said. “Our hope is that through compelling, inspirational storytelling, Higher Ground Audio will not only produce engaging podcasts, but help people connect emotionally and open up their minds—and their hearts.”
Barack Hussein Obama claims to care about fair pay and minority owned companies, yet inked a deal with a billion dollar corporation in Spotify, and not with Tidal, a majority black owned business that promotes fair pay to artists. Hmmmmm, how much did Spotify pay for you to drop your "values" so soon?
Regardless, all this congratulating themselves leaves little time to think of podcast ideas. Luckily for Obama, Republicans have a few topics that they would love to hear Barack discuss:
Why The IRS targeted Republicans
Operation Fast and Furious
Benghazi
The Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap
Giving Iran millions of dollars
The horrific conditions at the VA
Justice Department spying on journalists
Killing innocent Americans via drones
And last but not least: How much involvement did you have in the attempted coup and delegitimization of President Donald Trump?
Many Americans would love to hear the answer to that question.
