Topless advocates "reveal" their case to the U.S. Supreme Court

Three women from NH started this movement called "Free The Nipples", where the main goal is to allow women (what they believe is) the same freedom as men and that is to be allowed to go topless in public. There is an ordinance in place in the town of Laconia, NH where the city bars "the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering any part of the nipple." The women, lead by local Gilford NH woman, Heidi Lilley, claims this ordinance violates their constitutional right of treating men and women equally.

The three women have all been arrested for exposing their breasts in public. The first incident occurred in 2016 when Ginger Pierro was arrested at a local beach in Laconia for doing yoga topless. Then the two other women of the trio, Heidi Lilley and Kia Sinclair were arrested three days after Pierro when they went out topless to the same local beach in Laconia to protest their friend's arrest.

Thus far, the women have challenged the courts in NH but to no avail. Their next step is they have taken this case of theirs to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Court will not decide if they will hear this case of theirs till October of this year. We'll be following the case for sure.
