Two authors Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly are about to release a new book analyzing the life and accusations of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The name of the book is: "The Education of Brett Kavanaugh". In spirit of the forthcoming book, the New York Times released a smear piece (or tried to) in their Sunday edition of the paper where they took an excerpt from the forthcoming book, that shared a new assertion by a Yale classmate of sexual assault committed by Justice Kavanaugh. The assertion includes an incident where friends of Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hands of a female student while at a drunken dorm party. What the NY Times piece failed to mention in their attempt to smear Kavanaugh's good name is the part in the book that says the supposed female student that his happened to actually denied being interviewed and her friends claim she has no recollection of this ever occurring!
This smear piece was an attempt at fueling embers of liberal disapproval over the appointing of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and their failure to block him from being appointed. The NY Times piece got Democrats tweeting out and speaking out about how Kavanaugh needs to be impeached so the article was a hit with liberals but it's a good thing authors like Mollie Hemingway and those who received the forthcoming book ahead of time were able to comment on the actual "lack of facts" regarding this accusation that the Times decided to share in their piece.
This is the initial NY Times article that you can read, HERE.
Mollie Hemingway, co-author of the book "Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court", spoke out about the failure by the NY Times to include the fact that this accusation has no facts whatsoever and the supposed female victim that has no recollection of the incident they are writing about in this new book...read Mollie's article out of the Federalist HERE.
Regardless of the correction, Democrats found no need to delete their tweets or reverse their stance on impeaching Kavanaugh...
I think the NY Times knew what they were doing, this was not just a "mistake" that they forgot to include the notes that their is no evidence to prove this claim. This was a smear job to get the "impeachment" ball rolling and this was the fuel they used to try and get the job done. This is sad, and a shameful example of journalistic malpractice!
President Trump had to weigh in on this one too!
You know what's ridiculous? The NY Times have not even reviewed "Justice on Trial" by Mollie Hemingway and Carrie Severino, which is a best seller, yet they included an excerpt from this forthcoming book by Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly just because it's part of their left leaning mindset they want to back! Whatever happened to journalistic integrity?
