Massachusetts Senate passed the flavored tobacco ban

Massachusetts Senate passed the flavored tobacco ban, which includes e-cigarettes and menthol cigarettes.

The state Senate passed the flavored tobacco ban by a 32-6 vote.

The proposal, includes a 75% excise tax on nicotine vaping products, will now head to Gov. Charlie Baker’s desk to become law.

If the bill is signed by Gov. Baker, Massachusetts would become the first state to ban all flavored tobacco products.
