Last night's first Democratic Debate of 2020 was brought to you by CNN and what a disappoint it was. For starters, it was boring. They did not ask or press candidates the way they should have and they took sides. They brought up a question about the latest Warren vs. Bernie feud where rumor has it, Bernie Sanders told Elizabeth Warren in a private meeting, that he did not believe a woman could be or win the presidency. The first time they brought it up at the debate, CNN flat out asked Bernie why he said what he said when he told Warren a woman could not be president. Not, "did you say this" or "reports say you said this", they came out of the gate accusing him, "why did you say that to Warren". It wasn't until Bernie denied he ever said it, that they followed up with "I do want to be clear here, you're saying that you never told Senator Warren that a woman could not win the election."
CNN then turned to Warren AFTER Bernie just denied it, and asked her what she thought when Bernie said that to her! He JUST DENIED IT and yet here CNN is taking sides! It's unbelievable. Just watch:
Last night's Democratic Debate in Iowa might be the worst debate of this election cycle, to date. None of the candidates made out well last night, they just didn't. Nothing that was said or done moved the needle in any direction. Agree or disagree?
