Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicts coronavirus will be over by June or July in the United States.
Gingrich and his wife, Calista, the US ambassador to the Vatican, have been under lock down in Italy amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
“I think as we go through the virus which should be over by in Italy, I think probably in May and over in the U.S. probably June or July.”
He added: “If it’s at all like a normal virus, heat is the enemy of the virus so by mid-summer we should begin to recover.”
