Former Vice President Joe Biden snapped at President Donald Trump the first segment of the debate, calling him a “clown” and yelled, “Will you shut up, man?”
President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden traded jabs during Tuesday night’s presidential debate at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
While talking about the future of universal healthcare, Biden asked, “Do you have any idea what this clown is doing? I tell you what, he is not for any help for any people needing health care.”
At one point in the debate, Biden turned and said, “Will you shut up, man?”
The Democratic candidate also descended into childish name-calling. Biden called him a “clown” and a “racist.” He also reprimanded Trump for not being “presidential” in the same sentence that he told the president to “shut up.”
