Well, October came to an end and so did my hot streak making picks. I've had worse weeks than the 6-7-1 I posted in week nine, so no cause for alarm as long as we rebound strong here in week 10. A lot of interesting match-ups this week as we're firmly in the second half of the regular season now. Let's get to it.

Home teams in CAPS.
LA Chargers -1 over OAKLAND
I’m back riding with the Chargers after last week’s impressive showing against the Packers. Oakland looked impressive as well in Week 9, taking care of the Lions in their first home game in 53 days! I just don’t see the Raiders matching up well to stop the fire power that the Chargers are bringing with them into the black hole. The Pick LA Chargers 28 OAKLAND 23
Kansas City -4 over TENNESSEE
It appears that this weekend is the target for the return of Patrick Mahomes from his knee injury, if that’s the case, the Titans better be prepared for the onslaught that is coming their way. Actually, regardless if Mahomes is the QB or if it’s Matt Moore, I like the Chiefs by less than a touchdown in this one. The Pick: Kansas City 34 TENNESSEE 24
CLEVELAND -3 over Buffalo
I’m not sure why, but I have this feeling the Browns are going to show up and win this week at home against the Bills. Cleveland is 0-3 at home so far in 2019, so they are overdue for a win. I keep waiting for Buffalo to come back down to earth after their hot start, and we saw what can happen if someone gets a sizeable lead on them when the Eagles steamrolled them a few weeks ago. I think the Browns jump on them early, and Buffalo won’t have the firepower to come back. The Pick: CLEVELAND 24 Buffalo 17
Arizona +4.5 over TAMPA BAY
So far this season, anytime the Buccaneers look like a good football team one week, they fall apart the next one. I’m expecting this trend to continue and Tampa Bay will lose to both of the Quarterbacks taken in the top ten picks of the 2019 draft (Daniel Jones and Kyler Murray). Kyler Murray has looked like he has grasped control of the offense in four out of the last five weeks, the Bucs pass defense is terrible and I can easily see the rookie signal caller putting up some monster numbers. The Pick: Arizona 34 TAMPA BAY 31
NY JETS +2.5 over NY Giants
Insert Dennis Eckersley comment here: “YUCK”! That’s the only word I can come up with to describe the Toilet Bowl that is taking place in the Meadowlands this week. The only reason outside of gambling to tune in is to see if there will be any Halloween type sightings at Metlife. We had Sam D’Arnold seeing ghosts one week, and then the black cat on the field this past week. I’m taking the Jets only because they’re getting points in this spot. The Pick: NY JETS 28 NY Giants 27
NEW ORLEANS -13 over Atlanta
Brees is back, Atlanta stinks, the game is in New Orleans, I smell a blowout. The Pick: NEW ORLEANS 38 Atlanta 14
CINCINNATI +10 over Baltimore
The Ravens celebrated their impressive win over the Patriots on national television like they just won the Super Bowl. I think they’re going to have a bit of a let down this week and over look the pathetic Bengals. I don’t think Cincy is going to win, but I can see this one being much closer than many are expecting. The Pick: Baltimore 23 CINCINNATI 17
GREEN BAY -5 over Carolina
There’s no way the Packers are going to look as bad as they did last week against the Chargers. I expect a back and forth game at Lambeau with Aaron Rodgers driving down the field for a late touch to seal the win for Green Bay. The Pick: GREEN BAY 27 Carolina 20
Detroit +2.5 over CHICAGO
Mitchell Trubisky is the worst starting quarterback in the NFL. No way do I see him keeping pace with Stafford and this Lions offense, especially after last week when Stafford balled out against the Raiders but still lost. Detroit will be ready for the Bears Sunday. The Pick: Detroit 28 CHICAGO 14
Miami +10.5 over INDIANAPOLIS
This one opened at Colts -15.5 but has already swung five points in the Dolphins favor, thats because we don’t know who will be the quarterback for Indy. Jacoby Brissett has a sprained MCL, he is going to try and play on it, but if he can’t suit up, well then Brian Hoyer will be under center and he wasn’t all that impressive against the Steelers in Week 9. The Colts will win, but they may sweat this one out. The Pick: INDIANAPOLIS 20 Miami 17
LA Rams -3.5 over PITTSBURGH
I love the Rams in this spot coming off a bye, I think they’re going to throttle the Steelers. The Pick: LA Rams 35 PITTSBURGH 21
DALLAS -3 over Minnesota
The Vikings offense has been sputtering the last couple of weeks and on top of that, I think Zeke Elliott will run all over them in primetime Sunday Night. I also am skeptical about just how good the Cowboys are by the way, four of their five wins have come against the Giants(2x), Redskins, and Dolphins. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt to cover the field goal spread. The Pick: DALLAS 31 Minnesota 23
Seattle +6 over SAN FRANCISCO
Finally, we’re going to have a great Monday night matchup (on paper anyway). The final undefeated team in the NFL, the 49ers taking on their divisional rivals, the Seahawks. The 49ers defense is going to have their hands full with the three headed monster at wide receiver as Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf are now joined by Josh Gordon, if he plays this week. I like the Hawks to go into the Bay Area and take care of business in what should be a fun game to watch. The Pick: Seattle 27 SAN FRANCISCO 24
Byes: New England, Houston, Philadelphia, Washington, Denver, Jacksonville
