Cape Cod Residents Sit In The Dark After Storm Power Outage

BARNSTABLE, MA (WBZ-MA) – Kevin Fagans has been without power since Tuesday morning. That's when a huge tree toppled outside his Marstons Mills home, taking power lines down with it.

When it came down, of course there was a power surge and a big buzzing noise. It's been out since then.

Kevin says despite living with no electricity, He’s faring pretty well

"For us, not too bad. We do have heat, we have a wood stove," he said.

When faced with the thought of yet another possible nor'easter next week, Fagans shrugged it off and gave me the old "this is New England " line...

"Ya never know, ya know, especially on Cape Cod you never know what the weather's going to be like. We've had snowstorms in April, so who knows what's going to happen.," he said.
