School and MBTA Bus Crash in Roxbury

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- An MBTA bus and a school bus crash into each other during the early morning commute in Roxbury on Monday.

The collision happened at the intersection of Columbus Ave and Washington St around shortly after 6:00am  

According to WBZ NewsRadio1030's Kim Tunnicliffe the small school bus is lodged by the against a cement wall in the parking lot of the Santander Bank  with it's front end smashed in. 

There were no students on the school on board  bus at the time of the crash. 

Both drivers and 3 passengers on board the MBTA bus were taken to Boston Medical Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

Boston Police and MBTA Transit Police are investigating the cause of the crash
