Patriots Fans Eagerly Await Rematch Against Eagles

FOXBOROUGH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- It's still hours away, but that's not stopping New England Patriots fans from showing up at Gillette Stadium, where the patriots will be hosting the team that beat them in the Superbowl this year, the Philadelphia eagles.

WBZ NewsRadio1030's Kim Tunnicliffe spoke with a mother and son who drove from Connecticut to be at Thursday night's pre-season game.

Lydia Gallaghan and her son Ben from Norwich, Connecticut are SO excited about tonight's big pre-season re-match, they arrived here at Gillette six hours early...

"We're just gonna come in, look at the Hall of Fame and get ready for the game," she said.

Ben is predicting it will be a very physical game.

"It's gonna be an intense game. I think there's gonna be some brawls, big brawls, I think. Who do you think is going to come out on top? Patriots, of course. Patriots."

Both Ben and Lydia say they're looking forward to seeing Tom Brady out on the field.
