BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Red Sox manager Alex Cora was at Gillette Stadium Sunday night, one day after taking the World Series trophy back to his native Puerto Rico.

Owner John Henry, World Series MVP and life-long Pats fan Steve Pearce, J.D. Martinez, Brock Holt, Joe Kelly, Ryan Brasier, and others were also along.

In fact, Cora spoke with NESN after the Sox took the field in a duck boat--and said winning a championship wasn't even the best part of the last week for him.

"We're the world champs, I enjoyed it, Puerto Rico was great, but a selfie with the Greatest Of All Time? That was the best of the week," he said. "I know how locked in he gets, but the fact that he came up to me and he said congratulations to everybody, I was like, you know what? Might as well. And he didn't hesitate, so it was awesome!"

Cora posted the picture on Instagram and captioned it, "Me with the GOAT emoji."

Holt responded, "Tom Brady with the GOAT emoji."

Sox will head back to the Garden for the Bruins game tonight.
