Couple Sues Building Owner After Collapse

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A couple that was seriously injured when part of an Allston building collapsed on them are suing the owner.

Sonya Bandouil,23, suffered multiple fractures of her spine, skull and leg when was buried in bricks.

The classically trained pianist also had a finger on her right hand amputated.

Her boyfriend, Alex Pankiewicz, 25, was also injured.

The collapse happened on Harvard Avenue on November 4.

The couple claims the building's owner moss realty which operates the common ground restaurant was negligent in keeping the building in a safe condition.
