Lyft tells riders to change their names; "they don't align with guidelines"

The ride share company, Lyft is asking some of their passenger/clients to change their app names because they "do not align with company guidelines". Passengers like "Candice Poon", "Cara Dick", and "Kevin Cocks" among other passengers have been sent a notification to change their name and they have 48 hours to do so. The problem? These are these passengers actual legal names! Lyft thought these passengers were being jokesters, but they are legit! The message Lyft sent specifically sent to user Candice Poon (that is her real name), read: "As part of Lyft's guidelines, we require all members of the Lyft community to be respectful to create a comfortable ride for all. We're asking you to update your display name by 12/21."

Some people just have unfortunate names that they were legitimately given to them at birth! These passengers/users did send back a message complaining to Lyft that these are their names and Lyft promptly responded with an apology saying: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I'm  so sorry you received this email from us. This message was sent in error - we were trying to improve our systems to create a safe and respectful community and we missed the mark here. Rest assured, your name does not violate our Community Guidelines, and we’re sorry that we sent you an email that communicated otherwise."

VB asks the listeners if they know someone with such an outrageous sounding name that is legit their legal name. some of them had some wild, funny, crazy names! Take a listen:
