General Qassem Soleimani was killed by American Airstrikes; now what?

Friday morning, General Qassem Soleimani, head of Iran’s Quds Brigade and commander of the region, was killed by American airstrikes, more specifically a drone. He was responsible for the killing of hundreds of people across the region, not just Arabs, but including Americans as well. After this morning's airstrike, many people are concerned about the repercussions, thinking we just initiated a new war. Did we? According to various news outlets, Iran is responding by saying they will "seek revenge".

Various celebrities and public figures are outraged over this act commanded by POTUS Trump to conduct the airstrike, thinking that we are now going to 1) be engaged in war and 2) be killed by the Iranians. Celebrities like Rose McGowan, even sent out a tweet pleading with Iran that it was "not our fault" and "please do not kill us".

There was a great article put out by Journalist Ray Takeyh on this very subject of Iran losing it's "Imperial Strategist". Check out the article HERE.

VB had the pleasure of talking to Ray Takeyh today on the show. Take a listen...
