DPH Gives Latest Numbers Of Coronavirus Cases In Massachusetts

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has released the latest numbers regarding coronavirus cases in the state.

As of April 2, the number of confirmed cases is reported at 8,966.

The number of death attributed to coronavirus is at 154.

The age group with the largest population of confirmed COVID-19 cases is those aged 50-59 with 1,733 cases reported.

According to the report, 56,608 patients have been tested in total in the state, of which, 8,966 tested positive.
