Tanya Rad is still reeling from McDreamy’s return on Grey’s Anatomy. If you missed it, Patrick Dempsey reprised his role as the hunk of a doctor on the hit ABC series, shocking fans with his return to Grey’s Anatomy alongside Ellen Pompeo.
But, is Derek Shepherd here to stay?
According to showrunner Krista Vernoff, at least for a few more episodes.
"We will see more of [Derek] this season," she told the Los Angeles Times. "This was not just a cameo. He will appear three more times."
So, can fans expect other previous stars to return? Yes.
“Wonderful and completely surprising things are absolutely possible,” executive producers Andy Reaser and Meg Marinis recently told People magazine.
