Black Cat Runs Onto Field During Giants Game

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A black cat interrupted a New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium Monday night.

The incident has captured the attention of millions, sparking a lot of discussion on Twitter.

The crowd at MetLife Stadium erupted into cheers when the cat ran into the end zone scoring a "touchdown."

According to the stadium, the cat then ran under a seating section.

"Once we locate and safely capture the cat, we will take it to a veterinarian for examination," the stadium said in a tweet.

This is the second spooky incident to happen at MetLife Stadium recently.

Last month, New York Jets player Sam Darnold was heard saying "I'm seeing ghosts" during a game against the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.

The Pats ended up winning that game 33-0.

It's still not clear what happened to the cat.
