Mollie Tibbetts, missing Iowa student, has been found dead.
Tibbetts' father, Rob Tibbetts, told Fox News the body is his daughter, who vanished a month ago, has been found dead. A law enforcement source also told Fox News the body was found in Iowa, but there have been no details about the location where her body has been found.
Law enforcement announced last week they were focusing the search to five locations in and around Brooklyn, Iowa. Some locations included a car wash and a local pig farm.
Investigators also announced they were closing in on a suspect. They believed this suspect was helping in the search for Tibbetts and even attended a candlelight vigil for her.
However, Tibbet’s father remained confident his daughter was alive and was being held hostage by someone she knew.
A news conference was announced for 5 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
