The iconic Lay's potato chip company is wiping out at least 8 new flavors! VB has brought this to my attention based on his giddy excitement over one flavor in particular. Anyone who knows VB can probably guess what it is... most know he's a HUGE Lobster Roll fan and so of course he's ecstatic over the fact that that is one of the chosen flavors Lay's is coming out with; "New England Lobster Roll". Other flavors include:
- Chile Con Queso
- Cajun Spice
- Sweet Thai Chili
- Deep Dish Pizza
- Fried Pickles with Ranch
- Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice
- Pimento Cheese
I think we are going to have to have a taste test here on Boston's Morning Show to see which ones are a hit and which ones are a miss. VB so badly wants the New England Lobster Roll to be a hit and for his sake, I hope it is! Mainly because the rest of us won't hear the end of it...it'll be like iHOP all over again...although I'm not sure anything can top that for him.
Out of all these flavors, I think I'm most excited for the "Deep Dish Pizza" and the "Fried Pickles with Ranch". Although I'm intrigued by the cheese ones too though like the "Pimento Cheese" and the "Chili Con Queso". I'm always down with cheese flavored anything!
Look out for a special taste testing by the Boston's Morning Show in the near future! These unique flavors hit stores on July 30th.
