BOSTON (24/7 NewsSource/WBZ-AM) -- The remnants of former Hurricane Florence will be felt in Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service posted a flash flood watch from late Monday night until Tuesday night. Forecasters say torrential rainfall and thunderstorms will move into the area overnight, and winds will gust from the south and southwest.
Generally two-to-four inches of rain is expected, although isolated amounts of four inches or more are possible.
The storm has now weakened to a tropical depression. It has left about half a million homes and businesses without power, and officials report at least 23 storm-related deaths in North and South Carolina.
