Freezing Rain Coming Overnight; Winter Weather Advisory In Place

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The National Weather Service is warning that freezing rain hitting the area overnight is expected to cause slick roads into the Thursday morning commute.

The freezing rain was expected to start in Boston by 9 p.m. Wednesday, and end around 3 a.m. Thursday.


In addition, a Winter Weather Advisory was in place for nearly all of Massachusetts aside from the Cape and Islands, beginning 7 p.m. Wednesday and ending at 10 a.m. Thursday.
