Top Mass. Snow Totals For Thursday, February 23

COHASSET, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A storm system dumped snow on the Greater Boston area on Thursday. Some areas received about a half-foot of snow, with especially high totals in Essex County. Temperatures will begin to fall on Thursday afternoon, eventually causing slippery travel conditions and freezing rain in Greater Boston after 4:00 PM. Power outages are possible.

A new blast of winter precipitation is possible on Tuesday next week.

  • Haverhill: 5.8 in
  • Newburyport: 5.8 in
  • Amesbury: 5.3 in
  • North Andover: 5.0 in
  • Ipswich: 5.0 in
  • Topsfield: 5.0 in
  • Groveland: 4.5 in
  • Pepperell: 4.5 in
  • Ashby: 4.4 in
  • Middleton: 4.3 in
