16 Texas teachers in Texas spent last Saturday learning how to shoot guns.
One teacher told a local TV station that "We do our best to have security at our schools, but you never know what's going to happen. And it's better to be prepared than not prepared."
Strategic Weapons Academy of Texas in Ennis offered the lessons for free in a class titled "Defensive Pistol Training for Teachers."
Where do you stand on teachers being armed in the classroom? Even if they are not armed in school, would just having experience with guns better prepare them when it comes to protecting their students?
