Carolinas feeling Dorian's punch

Hurricane Dorian Makes Its Way Up East Coast

Hurricane Dorian has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm. According to the National Hurricane Center's latest advisory, maximum sustained winds are at 110 miles-per-hour as the storm moves off to the north-northeast at eight miles-per-hour. Dorian is located about 50 miles east-southeast of Charleston, South Carolina. Tropical Storm Warnings have been extended north to Fenwick Island, Delaware. Hurricane Warnings remain in place across South Carolina and North Carolina. The center of Hurricane Dorian is expected to move closer to the coast of South Carolina today and will move near or over the coast of North Carolina tonight into tomorrow.
