Senator Elizabeth Warren says forgiving up to $50,000 in student loan debt would transform an entire generation.

The Massachusetts Democrat is continuing to push the Biden administration to forgive that amount with an executive order.

Biden has signaled a willingness to forgive some student loan debt, but not the $50,000 Warren is pushing for. Federal student loan payments are set to resume in October after being paused during the pandemic.
