The United States has moved its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. President Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Today, the US opened it embassy. Massive protests broke out on the Gaza strip. 52 protesters have been shot dead along the Gaza border.
Today, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner were at the inauguration ceremony for the opening of the new embassy. Kushner gave a speech at the ceremony.
Kushner said, “While presidents before him have backed down from their pledge to move the American embassy, once in office this president delivered. Because when President Trump makes a promise, he keeps it.” He also highlighted President Trump's move to withdraw from the Iran deal.
