President Trump spoke out against Paul Manafort being found guilty on 8 count of financial fraud.
“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort. It has nothing to do with me. Nothing to do with Russia collusion,” Trump said as he arrived in West Virginia for a rally Tuesday night.
Today, Trump had a lot to say on Twitter.
He tweeted, “I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!”
