During the Clemson Tigers' visit to the White House, President Trump joked about buying fast food for the players instead of having his wife, Melania Trump, make them salads.
Well, CNN's panel melted down over Trump's joke. CNN anchor Erin Burnett and analyst Joan Walsh accused Trump of being sexist for assuming that the first lady would prepare salads for the players.
Joan Walsh said, “That’s appalling, it seems to me that the president will not be happy until there is one single female Republican voter in the country. It’s incredibly sexist.”
“Sometimes what people say when they’re being funny exposes exactly who they are and what they think,” Burnett agreed.
