A federal appeals court will consider if the Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev received a fair trial in Boston.
Tsarnaev was convicted and sentenced to death in 2015 for carrying out the April 15, 2013, attack at the Boston marathon. Three people were killed and more than 260 were injured in the explosions.
Tsarnaev's lawyers argue it’s impossible to find a fair jury in Boston because the explosions shocked the region. His lawyers are trying to get his death sentence overturned. Prosecutors say an impartial jury was carefully selected.
Should Dzhokhar Tsarnaev get another trial?
