President Trump puts Vice President Pence in charge of Coronavirus response

President Donald Trump addressed the nation Wednesday evening during a press conference at the White House.

Trump announced during the news conference that Vice President Mike Pence will oversee the US government response to the coronavirus.

Trump said it was “not inevitable” that the coronavirus would continue to spread throughout the United States.

So far, there have been 60 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the US.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said during the press conference, fifteen people were the initial cases, three more came from evacuation flights, and 42 were from the Diamond Princess ship that was quarantined by Japanese health authorities in earlier February.

Do you believe government officials when they say don’t worry about coronavirus?
