Massachusetts passed a law to allow all registered voters to cast their vote by mail in any 2020 election.
Gov. Charlie Baker signed the bill into law on Monday.
"I am very pleased that this bill has been signed into law, allowing voters and election officials to plan for everyone to be able to vote safely this fall," Galvin said in a statement.
The voter registration deadline for all elections in 2020 will be 10 days before any election.
