Congress weigh releasing "alarming" FISA memo to the public

On Thursday, the House Intelligence Committee voted on a party line vote to release a memo on FISA abuse to the greater House of Representatives. The goal is to eventually release the memo to the general public.

New York Rep. Peter King pushed for the memo to be released.

Several prominent Republicans in the House have publicly stated that the memo is a bombshell which will cause several people to be potentially arrested and changes to leadership to occur. They used words such as "shocking" and "alarming" and likened the memo to the old KGB in Russia.

Democrats on the committee argue that the memo was written by partisan Trump allies with an agenda to push and that info was cherry-picked to make the agencies in question look bad.
