"L'Chayim means to life!" is presumably the caption to this gem...
Speaker of the House and underminer-in-chief to the President (Allegedly) Paul Ryan has decided he will not seek re-election.
Serving as speaker has been a great honor. Now, with all three of my kids in their teens, I am ready to set new priorities. I intend to serve my full term as I was elected to do. But I will be retiring in January, leaving this majority in good hands and with a bright future. pic.twitter.com/LfyZtZOIn4— Paul Ryan (@SpeakerRyan) April 11, 2018
The question here is: Who wants him?
To his credit, President Trump took the high road when responding to the departing Speaker, who was seen more often as a foil than an ally:
Speaker Paul Ryan is a truly good man, and while he will not be seeking re-election, he will leave a legacy of achievement that nobody can question. We are with you Paul!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018
Ah, the ol' "Hail fellow well met." Well played, Mr. President... the Kuhner Man, for one, is ecstatic to say goodbye to RINO Ryan.
Are you happy Paul Ryan isn’t seeking re-election?— Jeff Kuhner (@TheKuhnerReport) April 11, 2018
