His book is finally here, Former FBI Director James Comey's book: "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership". This book highlights some never told experiences throughout Comey's career over the past two decades. He was the Director of the FBI from 2013-2017 and previously he was the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York as well as the U.S. Deputy Attorney General during the President George W. Bush administration. Comey highlights what it was like to be in his position, dealing with prosecuting the Mafia, Martha Stewart, and of course overseeing the Hillary Clinton email investigation. In addition the former FBI Director did not leave out of the book, a topic which certainly has gotten the attention of President Trump, that of him investigating the ties of the Trump campaign and Russia. As you might remember, POTUS Trump fired James Comey abruptly last year, which came as a total surprise to Comey himself. In this book of Comey's he shares personal details about his chats with POTUS Trump. Now you have to remember that Comey has been known to take meticulous notes about EVERYTHING. A little taste of some details that have come out by Comey is as follows: "[Trump] then began discussing cases where women had accused him of sexual assault, a subject I had not raised. He mentioned a number of women, and seemed to have memorized their allegations.”
President Trump of course got wind of this and what's included in Comey's book and he is not happy to say the least. He took to Twitter (like he usually does) to comment on Comey and his book:
James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR. Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired. He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted. He lied to Congress under OATH. He is a weak and.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2018
....untruthful slime ball who was, as time has proven, a terrible Director of the FBI. His handling of the Crooked Hillary Clinton case, and the events surrounding it, will go down as one of the worst “botch jobs” of history. It was my great honor to fire James Comey!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 13, 2018
Whewww, "it was my great honor to fire James Comey!". That's a bold statement Mr. President. He's clearly not going to buy and read James Comey's book. Will you? Are you even interested in what he has to say in his book or are you like POTUS Trump and think it's just filled with all lies?
