Gen. Kelly thinks rumours are BS!

The rumor mill has been going around claiming that General John Kelly flipped out and called Trump "an idiot", sparking tension in the White House. These comments have anonymously come out from "officials" who claim that Kelly is not satisfied with the way POTUS Trump is handling immigration policies and potential deals to be worked out. It's reported that he thinks he should be tougher on them. According to these officials, Kelly is concerned about the president's knowledge of the issue and said: "He doesn't even understand what DACA is. He's an idiot." Some media outlets such as NBC are even reporting that Kelly claims, "he's saving the U.S. from disaster". The big question here: are those comments true? Did Gen. Kelly say them? Are they just rumours? How can we prove it?

The last time something like this happened in Trump's administration was earlier in the year where it was said that Rex Tillerson questioned the President's intelligence, calling him a "moron". That started a rift between the two and ultimately led to Tillerson's firing this past March. Knowing what we know about Tillerson and seeing what happened, it's only natural to wonder if General Kelly will be out of the White House soon.

General Kelly made a statement Monday addressing these rumours saying that, "I spend more time with the president than anyone else and we have an incredibly candid and strong relationship. He always knows where I stand and he and I both know this story is total BS," Kelly said in a statement. "I am committed to the president, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration's many successes."

President Trump thinks these latest rumours are just more "fake news"

We can't prove that these statements by Kelly are true. All we have to go off of is the claimed statements by "officials". No recorded audio, video, etc. How do we know these officials are not just out there making rumours up to smear the president and make the administation look unstable, unsettled, or problematic? Some believe it could be rumours started by ex-White House staffers looking to get back into the White House by making up rumours of those still in there just to make their way back in. Who knows for sure but what we do know is the Gen. Kelly believes it's total BS and the president, "fake news"!
