So, it turns out Judge Feeley probably knew exactly what he was doing - which is exactly what you suspected he was doing.
From the Salem News:
"If he was a citizen, I’d send him — I’d probably do house (of correction) time — but I’d send him to the house," Salem Superior Court Judge Timothy Feeley said during a hearing last February. "I would."
The "He" to which everyone's least favorite Judge is Manuel Soto-Vittini, the career criminal "Migrant Entrepreneur" and drug dealer who was put back on the street for "Basically a money crime."
Now Judge Feeley has admitted that had Soto-Vittini been a citizen, he would have sent him to jail.
