Colin Kaepernick polarized America - intentionally or not - by kneeling for social injustices in 2016. That gesture sparked the many National Anthem protests that have consumed the NFL.
Nike is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal "Just Do It" campaign; and Kaepernick is the chosen face.
It's a curious move to say the least by Nike, as Kaepernick is currently suing the NFL for collusion.
