Who is the NY Times anonymous op-ed writer?!

President Trump is FURIOUS! A member of his administration/staff went to the New York Times, of all outlets, and wrote an opinion piece on not just what it's like inside the White House but what really is going on. The New York Times is claiming this "anonymous" writer is a senior official within the White House and that they wish to remain anonymous or risk losing their job. Their reason for writing this article? Oh, to let the American people know that there are some of them on the inside trying to divert POTUS Trump from making horrible mistakes that would greatly affect "the health of our republic". The writer says that that is their duty to their country. More specifically a excerpt from the article says, "That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office."

The anonymous writer goes on to say that: "Americans should know that there are adults in the room. We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t. The result is a two-track presidency."

As for President Trump and his learning of this piece? He's understandably upset. He was talking to a bunch of American Sheriffs in the East Room of the White House when he expressed his true feelings in front of everyone...

"Gutless". "A Gutless editorial" That's what POTUS Trump is calling it. Tons of people are speculating who this "insider" could be. Could it be a secretary? A family member? Top aid? The NY Times is claiming it's a senior official but who knows. Some don't even care to know but one thing is for sure is President Trump would sure like to know!

Kim & VB discuss their thoughts on the New York Times op-ed piece and who it might be. In addition they take the listener's calls on what they think:
