Criminal Drops His BB Gun, Loses Pants During Failed Armed Robbery

A criminal in Colorado should stick to his day job after he completely botched a robbery attempt of an E-Cig from a Denver store in Aurora. Before entering the shop, the man paced back and forth multiple times until he finally decided to walk inside.

As he quickly approached the clerk, he reached into his pocket to pull out a gun. Before he could even make a demand for cash, the clumsy burglar fumbled the gun and it flew behind the counter. The startled cashier rushed toward the weapon while the attempted robber tried to climb over the glass display case to retrieve it.

She managed to beat him to the gun, which turned out to be an airsoft pistol, and the man quickly retreated. As he started to run away, his pants began to fall down. He kicked the door open and fled into the parking lot while trying to hold his pants up.

Chris Burgess, the owner of the store, told the Denver Post he thinks the robber "needs to find a new career."

“I don’t want to downplay the seriousness of an armed robbery, but the guy really does belong in the ‘world’s dumbest criminals,'" Burgess joked.

Aurora police said they are investigating the robbery attempt and are currently searching for the suspect.
