Entertainment Hits this Weekend!

We've made it again to the weekend. Finally right?! With that being said, here are some of TV & Movies biggest releases this weekend starting with movies that have hit theaters near you:

Movies:

1) Halloween

Michael is back for another Halloween to terrorize a neighborhood near you! We are in October, Michael Myers' favorite time. Jamie Lee Curtis is back four decades later to battle Michael one last time. It's the perfect Halloween time thriller! 

This movie is rated R for horror and violence. It's receiving very high reviews from audiences and critics alike. Rotten Tomatoes as well as audiences both give it a score of 81% positive.

2) The Old Man & The Gun

This drama flick is based of the true story of Forrest Tucker who is played by Robert Redford. The synopsis is described as follows: " from his audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 to an unprecedented string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public. Wrapped up in the pursuit are detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck), who becomes captivated with Forrest's commitment to his craft, and a woman (Sissy Spacek), who loves him in spite of his chosen profession."

This film is rated PG-13. Critics of Rotten Tomatoes give it a very high score of 91% while audiences give it a score of about 71%.

1) Wanderlust (Netflix)

A new series hits Netflix about a long time English married couple who wants to switch things up and add some excitement into their sex lives by sleeping with other people. They still very much want to be married but want to each sexually engage with other people separately. Joy and Alan have a family and experiment with going on dates all while trying to explain to their older kids why they want to do what they are doing. They come to realize that their dating experiences surprisingly bring them back to together and more attracted to one another than ever before.

2) Making a Murderer Part 2

The long anticipated return of the Netflix original series is back. The mystery and story behind the notorious "murderer" Steven Avery continues. Did he or didn't he kill Penny Beerntsen? Was or wasn't his nephew Brendan Dassey involved or was he tricked by local law enforcement into admitting something he had nothing to do with? By the way, Dassey has a learning disability. The Netflix series showcases the investigation, trial, legal teams fighting for justice and the entire process.
