BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) — A newly formed coalition is calling on Beacon Hill Lawmakers to stop underfunding public schools and universities in working-class communities.
Students, teachers & parents making up the Fund Our Future coalition traveled to the Statehouse Tuesday calling on Governor Charlie Baker and Commonwealth lawmakers to re-invest $1.5 billion dollars in public education.
They say public schools and insitutions of higher learning have been underfunded for too long.
