Love is in the air during this month of February; love for beer that is! There are so many options, so many choices, which one do I go with? Do I keep with the theme of Valentine's Day and pick a chocolate stout or fruity strawberry beer? Or do I go in a different direction...what beer is calling my name this month?
One beer sought me out and begged for me to drink it. Fate had it cross my path and as soon as I saw that glorious can, I new, this beer is the one for me! The beer? 'Bohemian Raspberry' by Ipswich Ale Brewery. It's perfect because 1) I LOVE Queen & Freddie Mercury and hello have you seen this can!? Then 2) and most relevant for this month, Bohemian Rhapsody the biopic about Queen is up for a bunch of Oscars and we're in the month of February when the Oscars are so it could not be more perfect!

That's my score, 6 & 1/2 out of 10 for 'Bohemian Raspberry', a kettle sour ale! Again thank you Scott Whitley for the recommendation for this month's beer selection. I am taking suggestions for March. Think St. Patrick's Day, Irish themed.
