Social Media Feud Between Teens Resulted In Fatal Stabbing

A 16-year-old girl from San Antonio, Texas was arrested after authorities said that she stabbed two fellow classmates following a weeks-long dispute over a boy. 18-year-old Kaitlin Leonor Castilleja and Vivian Foster, 18, reportedly sent the unidentified 16-year-old girl threatening messages on social media before they showed up at her home to attack her.

When Foster and Castilleja confronted the girl, a fight ensued, and the younger girl managed to fend off her attackers with a knife. Castilleja suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital. Foster only suffered superficial wounds before she managed to flee. Foster and the 16-year-old both called police following the incident.

Foster and Vastilleja admitted to police that they had "jumped" the girl in her driveway and had recorded the confrontation.

The teen, whose identity was not released because she is a minor, was taken to the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center where she was charged with murder. It is unclear if Foster will face chargers for her role in the fight that led to her friend's death.
